About the position

As a Senior Validation Engineer in our Mobile Power Solutions R&D team, you will be the technical reference for validation and testing of electronic systems. You will define and execute validation activities across the development lifecycle, ensuring reliability, performance, and robustness of power electronics solutions. Working hands-on with test benches (HIL/VIL) alongside hardware and firmware engineers, you will actively contribute to shaping how validation is performed within a growing R&D site.

Your main responsibilities

  • Design and define validation procedures and methodologies for electronic systems
  • Lead and actively perform hands-on validation activities across the full development lifecycle, in accordance with applicable legislation and standards
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive improvements to meet performance and reliability standards
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, manufacturing, and supply chain) to ensure validation outcomes support product and business requirements

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would include at least 5 years of professional experience in validation and testing of electronic or electrical systems, ideally in an industrial or R&D environment (e.g.power electronics, automation, or energy systems), along with the following qualifications and experience:

  • University degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Hands-on of experience validating electronic or electromechanical systems (e.g., controllers, inverters, automation or industrial equipment)
  • Experience performing failure analysis and driving corrective actions within validation activities
  • Fluency in Italian and English, written and verbal
