
Position Overview
Blooper Biotech, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Lab Assistant to join our Research & Development team. The Lab Assistant will play a vital role in supporting scientific experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates interested in starting a career in biotechnology and clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, label, and organize laboratory samples and materials.
• Assist scientists and research associates in setting up experiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab environment.
• Monitor inventory and restock laboratory supplies as needed.
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and handling of materials.
• Accurately record and maintain laboratory data and documentation.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or associate degree in science or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Previous laboratory experience (academic or professional) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry)
