Head of Infrastructure Project management, GlobalConnect B2C Finland

Are you a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for execution and an ability to drive complex infrastructure projects? We're looking for a Head of Infrastructure Project management to lead and grow our optical fiber construction initiatives across our B2C markets in Finland.

As Head of Infrastructure Project management, you'll be responsible for managing our end-to-end project portfolio execution and master plan activities – from early pre-studies to procurement and rollout. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll steer a team of project managers, drive strategic prioritization, and ensure successful execution of expansion projects in close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be the SPOC for Contractor Procurement, leading strategic discussions with preferred contractors and maintaining a strong shortlist.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage our B2C infrastructure project portfolio
• Prioritize infrastructure projects aligned with business expansion goals
• Ensure rollout projects are delivered with the right time, cost, and quality
• Oversee contractor planning, selection, performance and ensure alignment with our delivery standards
• Serve as SPOC for Contractor Procurement, build and maintain the shortlist of contractors, including strategic discussions
• Secure and improve customer satisfaction linked to B2C infrastructure performance
• Drive project and process development across the rollout lifecycle

Your qualifications

• Higher academic degree in relevant field
• Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure rollout operations
• Strong understanding of rollout economics and performance metrics
• Skilled in identifying bottlenecks and implementing sustainable solutions
• Familiarity with contractor engagement and procurement strategy
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration
• Must have fluent in Finnish and English language; Swedish language skill is seen as an great advantage
