The Professional Services Team is looking for an initiative-taking and committed Senior Solution Consultant to understand, define, and implement customer requirements for Basware software solutions and services.
We are seeking an experienced and solution-oriented Senior Solution Consultant to join our team with deep functional knowledge in finance operations and the accounts payable process. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between finance stakeholders and technical teams to implement and optimize ERP and finance system solutions—without acting as a business consultant. You’ll take charge of translating operational needs into smart, scalable solutions that drive performance, compliance, and automation.
In this techno-functional role, you’ll work as part of an international project team, directly responsible for delivering system integrations, configuring the Basware application suite, extending product functionality, and managing other technical configurations. You’ll be part of an exciting, high-performing delivery team, focused on achieving genuine success for our clients.
- Solution Design and Consulting:Working with Basware’s customer base to implement/configure Basware’s suite of software solutions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand client requirements and implement solutions that align with their invoicing automation goals.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client systems, processes, and existing technology infrastructure to identify integration points and implementation requirements.
- Analyze and interpret finance and AP process flows to design effective technology solutions.
- Partner with finance, procurement, and technical teams to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
- Lead configuration and deployment of finance systems (ERP, invoice processing, vendor portals, etc.).
- Create and maintain detailed solution documentation including process flows and functional specs.
- Coordinate testing, training, and user adoption across finance and shared services functions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance operations and reduce manual workloads through automation.
- Ensure system solutions meet internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance standards.
- Resolve issues related to financial transactions, data accuracy, and integration points.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by staying informed of industry best practices and tools.

Skills & Requirements
- Professional certifications such as system-related certifications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of finance and accounting principles, especially AP processes and controls.
- Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) implementing finance systems and driving process optimization.
- B.Tech. in Computer Science or related fields.
