Le poste

Sectra se lance dans une initiative pancanadienne visant à diriger des projets de remplacement de PACS à l’échelle régionale et provinciale. Notre ambition est de transformer les solutions d’imagerie médicale à travers le pays, en nous appuyant sur la technologie de pointe Sectra et notre expertise reconnue afin d’améliorer les soins aux patients et d’optimiser les flux de travail cliniques. Nous recherchons des personnes orientées service, passionnées par la santé et la technologie. En tant qu’Ingénieur technique, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la conception, le déploiement et le soutien de systèmes critiques ayant un impact direct sur les résultats cliniques.

Communication client & gestion des cas

  • Gérer de manière autonome les demandes de support technique enregistrées dans le système ServiceDesk, en documentant avec précision les actions entreprises, les solutions apportées et les modifications système effectuées.
  • Escalader les problèmes complexes ou non résolus aux ingénieurs seniors ou aux équipes spécialisées, lorsque nécessaire.
  • Communiquer directement avec les clients, partenaires et distributeurs afin de recueillir des informations techniques, clarifier le comportement du système et transmettre des mises à jour tout au long du processus de résolution.

Déploiement & configuration des systèmes

  • Effectuer de façon autonome l’installation et la configuration de serveurs Windows, des instances MS SQL Server, des applications d’entreprise ainsi que des intégrations Active Directory dans l’environnement d’imagerie Sectra.
  • Configurer et maintenir les déploiements en cloud sur Microsoft Azure pour les systèmes TI en santé, en assurant une configuration adéquate, évolutive et conforme aux normes de sécurité.

Intégration & interopérabilité

  • Réaliser de manière autonome l’intégration entre les solutions Sectra et des systèmes externes (DME, RIS, HIS, outils d’intelligence artificielle), à l’aide d’interfaces standards (DICOM, HL7, IHE) et d’API personnalisées.
  • Dépanner et résoudre les problèmes d’interopérabilité liés aux flux d’imagerie, à la connectivité des systèmes et aux protocoles d’échange de données.

Diagnostic technique & expertise

  • Servir de ressource technique dans le diagnostic et la résolution de problèmes complexes liés à la performance, à la configuration ou aux intégrations des systèmes.
  • Maintenir et enrichir continuellement une connaissance approfondie de la suite de produits Sectra — logiciels, infrastructure matérielle et services associés.
  • Démontrer une expertise technique dans des domaines clés selon les besoins des projets, des clients ou du développement de l’équipe.

The role

Sectra is embarking on a journey to lead PACS replacement projects across Canada. We aim to revolutionize healthcare imaging solutions across regions and provinces, leveraging Sectra's cutting-edge technology and expertise to enhance patient care and streamline medical workflows. We’re seeking service-minded individuals with a passion for healthcare. As a Technical Engineer your role will focus on designing, deploying, and supporting critical systems that drive improved clinical outcomes.

Customer Communication & Case Management

  • Independently manage and resolve technical support cases logged in the ServiceDesk system, ensuring accurate documentation of actions, solutions, and system changes.
  • Escalate unresolved or highly complex issues to senior engineers or specialized teams, as appropriate.
  • Engage directly with customers, partners, and distributors to gather technical information, clarify system behavior, and communicate updates throughout the resolution process.

System Deployment & Configuration

  • Perform independent installation and configuration of Windows-based servers, MS SQL Server instances, enterprise applications, and Active Directory integrations within Sectra’s imaging environment.
  • Configure and support Microsoft Azure cloud-based deployments for healthcare IT systems, ensuring proper setup, scalability, and adherence to security standards.

Integration & Interoperability

  • Independently implement integrations between Sectra’s solutions and external healthcare systems, including EMRs, RIS, HIS, and AI tools, using standard-based interfaces (DICOM, HL7, IHE) and custom APIs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interoperability issues involving imaging workflows, system connectivity, and data exchange protocols.

Technical Troubleshooting & Subject Matter Expertise

  • Serve as a technical resource in diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to system performance, configuration, and integrations.
  • Maintain and continuously expand strong working knowledge of Sectra’s product suite, including software applications, hardware infrastructure, and associated services.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in key technical areas as needed to support projects, customer requirements, or team development.

Skills & Requirements

Êtes-vous la personne qu’il nous faut ?

  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en organisation, à l’oral comme à l’écrit, en anglais et français, avec une passion pour la santé et la technologie.
  • Diplôme en génie informatique, informatique de la santé ou domaine connexe, avec un bon dossier académique.
  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un environnement TI dynamique.

So are you a fit?

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and oral in English and French, with a passion for healthcare and technology.
  • A degree in computer engineering, health informatics, or related field with strong academic performance.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a fast-paced IT environment
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in healthcare IT, technical support, or system administration.
  • Working knowledge of PACS/RIS system, HL7/DICOM standards, and clinical workflows
  • Experience with Windows Server, MS SQL, Active Directory, and VMware.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell or Python) and cloud environments like Microsoft Azure is an asset.

Our salary range for this role falls between $82,500 and $102,500.
