About the role
We are seeking a highly performing and experienced Senior Data Management and Enterprise Architecture Professional to join our team within Management Consulting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, data governance, and data analytics as well as working with Business and IT Architecture, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. This will involve working closely with clients to understand and approach their data challenges. This includes developing and implementing data strategies and enterprise architecture design to ensure data quality, compliance and the effective utilization of data for strategy deployment.
The role can be placed in Stockholm or Gothenburg, depending on your location and preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects in the data management and enterprise architecture area, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies to ensure data quality, integrity, compliance and security
- Drive and lead initiatives within the enterprise architecture domain, addressing strategic questions related to application landscapes, system integration, data flows, platform selection, and alignment with business capabilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements and provide tailored data solutions
- Design and implement data architectures and data models to support business objectives
- Actively drive the collaboration with sectors/accounts and KPMG global capabilities to identify opportunities and drive business development
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics

Skills & Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in data management and enterprise architecture or related fields
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality management, and data protection regulation
- Experience working with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure Data Platform, or other relevant technologies
- Hands-on experience with data migration, integration, and building scalable data pipelines across modern cloud or on-premise environments
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
