Kesko Tax Team is looking for an experienced Nordic Tax Manager to join the energetic, change-driven crew. In this role, you will oversee and manage Kesko Group’s tax affairs across the Nordic region, focusing especially on our businesses in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. You will work closely with the local finance teams and businesses as well as Group’s common functions and Group Financial Services, ensuring compliance with local tax laws, optimizing Group’s tax positions and supporting business initiatives from a tax perspective.

The trading sector is undergoing a major transformation, and thus offers an interesting working environment and opportunities for personal development.
What we expect from you:
- Masters degree in economics or law, with specialisation in tax law
- 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in an in-house tax function of a multinational group or within Big4 consulting firm, preferably with experience across multiple Nordic jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of Nordic tax laws and international tax principles, combined with practical experience in IFRS tax accounting, tax reporting and transfer pricing
- Proven project management and process development skills
- Basic skills with relevant IT systems (e.g. SAP, Hyperion) and enthusiasm for learning and implementing new tools and technologies
- Proactive and independent way of working and hunger for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills, native-level proficiency in one Nordic language (Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian or Danish) and fluency in English
