Tink enables banks and financial institutions throughout Europe to become data-driven through smart, precise, future-proof technology. From collecting or analysing data, to obtaining insights and generating tailored advice and product recommendations - Tink delivers personal, intelligent financial experiences.

As an SRE, you’ll make sure the products at Tink build, ship and run efficiently and smoothly.

The Tink platform consists of a large set of complex micro-services providing capabilities to aggregate information from hundreds of financial institutions, execute payments and transfers, process billions of transactions and automatically build statistical models of financial behaviour using machine learning.

Combining software and systems engineering you will build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. The SRE ensures that Tink's services—both internally critical and externally-visible systems—are reliable and have the appropriate uptime that users’ need as well as a fast rate of improvement while keeping an ever-watchful eye on capacity and performance.

  • Design, write and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
  • Solve problems relating to mission-critical services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence; with the goal of automated response to all non-exceptional service conditions.
  • Influence and create new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Engage in service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning.
  • Conduct periodic on-call duties

About the company

Tink is the smartest way to make better financial decisions. Our goal is to help people understand their finances, empower them to make smarter choices and ultimately bring financial happiness. We believes that managing money should be effortless and rewarding.

This influences everything we do and how we work. We are dedicated and feel a big responsibility in what we are set to achieve, we work creatively and are curious in what we do, we value transparency and honest communication. We strongly believe in the synergies that are created when autonomy, responsibility and close collaboration between different disciplines gets the opportunity to coexist. We are dedicated to push and challenge the industry to change. We know it will take hard work but we also know that we have the potential and tools to make it happen.

Even though we are separated in teams, Tink is still a true start-up and one big team where everyone’s opinion is valued. It’s not uncommon that we all sit together and workshop on the next feature design on a Friday afternoon, and build prototypes and ship beta versions the week after. There is a great degree of freedom within your team and you are solely responsible for what you do and your time. This is a perfect time to join Tink and put yourself in one of these small, growing, creative and passionate teams

We currently operate under a dual business model; one B2B, where we license the underlying core technology to financial institutions across the world, and the other, B2C, offering 500 000 people in Sweden smarter ways to manage their money through our award winning app. Founded in 2012, we currently have 100+ employees at our HQ in Stockholm. Our partners include BNP Paribas Fortis, ABN AMRO, Klarna, SEB, Nordea and Nordnet. And we are just getting started, take the opportunity and come join the Tink family and together we will continue challenge and change the industry!
