We’re expanding our Data Analytics team and are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to lead the technical development of our data platforms and shape the future of data-driven decision making across our 280+ hotels.
At Scandic, we believe in the power of data to transform the way we operate. As our Lead Data Engineer, you’ll have a crucial role in driving the evolution of our data platform and your work will provide critical insights that help our hotels enhance both efficiency and guest experiences. We estimate that you’ll spend about half of your time coding, and the rest focused on architecture, collaboration and other relevant stuff.
You'll collaborate with passionate, innovative colleagues in a cross-functional, forward-thinking team. This role does not include personnel responsibility. You will report to our Head of Tech for Finance & Analytics.
We use Snowflake and Power BI on Azure. Additionally, we are in the process of implementing DBT to complement our Snowflake database, giving you the chance to work with some of the best tools in the business.
