CTO & Co-founder for AccessMyWay, a startup supporting people with visual impairments as their partner in independent mobility.
Visual impairments shape the everyday experiences of millions of people across the globe and Europe. This influences how people navigate public spaces, connect with others, and access information, often requiring ongoing adaptation, support, and resilience. Our mission is to support people with visual impairments in confidently navigating the world and accessing social activities on their own terms.
Today’s solutions for independent mobility are too often unaffordable, inaccessible, or inadequate to meet the real-world needs.
At AccessMyWay, we are building a smart mobile assistant to plan and book social and cultural visits, supporting more confident, independent journeys and everyday social connections. Our mobile app features a crowd-sourced map that fosters community connections and promotes social well-being, working alongside existing navigational aids like canes or guide dogs to enhance, rather than replace, users’ mobility strategies.
