MARKETING AUTOMATION MANAGER – USER ENGAGEMENT TEAM

THE OPPORTUNITY IN A NUTSHELL
You? A data-driven and solution-oriented Marketing Automation Manager who thrives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Role? Own and drive marketing automation strategies for the Nordic Mobility vertical, working closely with stakeholders to enhance user engagement and optimize marketing automation initiatives.
Company? Schibsted Marketplaces, soon to be Vend, home of Blocket, FINN, DBA, Bilbasen, Oikotie & Tori, where millions of people across the Nordics connect to find what they need, whether it’s a way to move, a job, a home, or a fresh start.
Location? Join us in our Stockholm office with the flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days a week: your choice, your balance.
Why us? This is your chance to join our Centre of Excellence in marketing automation, driving high-impact initiatives, collaborating with diverse teams, and shaping the future of marketing automation in a multi-brand, multi-country setting.

Sounds like your cup of tea? Check out the details below!

WHO ARE YOU?

  • You have solid experience working with CRM/Marketing Automation platforms, defining data needs, product requirements and business cases for multi-channel marketing automation.
  • You are familiar with the data flows needed to build data-driven marketing automation solutions. You’re on top in always measuring your work through continuous analysis and experimentation.
  • Experience in Braze, our main B2C user engagement platform, is a big plus!
  • You have confident communication in English, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across different teams and countries.
  • You thrive in a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team culture but can also take ownership of your vertical, ensuring marketing automation initiatives align with business goals.
  • As a person, you have a strategic and leaning-forward mindset, able to define key user journeys and implement scalable marketing automation strategies across multiple markets, focused on finding solutions even when things are not set in stone.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?
Day-to-day work & projects cooking
As our new Marketing Automation Manager, you are joining our User Engagement Team: our mission is to proactively plan marketing automation journeys and initiatives supporting multiple verticals (aka, business areas). In particular, you are the main contact point for the Mobility Vertical, which includes the marketplaces that help you find a new vehicle to move, like Blocket in Sweden.

Your mission? To proactively plan, execute, and optimize marketing automation strategies that drive user engagement and business growth: you focus on defining the most important user journeys in relation to Vertical business goals and marketing automation initiatives to support these journeys while keeping in mind the Nordic perspective where these initiatives would be scalable across different countries.

You communicate and collaborate closely with the Vertical marketing squad and the Vertical product and tech teams to define marketing automation needs and support the implementation of these needs, both regarding our existing platforms and planning for our future common marketplaces platform into which the Mobility Vertical will transition in the near future.

Succeeding in this role requires an independent and proactive attitude while working with your dedicated Vertical. Supporting you in this journey would be a team of other marketing automation experts, our Nordic CRM Lead and marketing data & analytics experts working with various initiatives and our other verticals.

Turning Challenges into Opportunities!
This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of marketing automation as we transition towards a more unified platform. The complexity of working with multiple brands, platforms, and markets requires adaptability and strategic thinking but also provides a chance to drive meaningful change and set new standards for our user engagement excellence.
