WHO ARE YOU?

  • Proactive problem-solver: You’re eager to identify and address customer pain points through thoughtful design.
  • Design delivery: You are great at drafting and iterating designs in Figma, displaying a clear understanding of how different design choices connect to business value. You seek input and collaboration with customers, your team, and internal stakeholders to build on ideas and finalize solutions. You confidently guide developers during implementation to ensure the experience looks and works as intended and follows our design guidelines.
  • Collaborative team player: You thrive when working closely with cross-functional teams, including PMs and developers, to define and achieve our goals.
  • User-focused: Conducting research and gathering insights to create impactful designs is second nature to you.
  • Adaptable and versatile: You excel in dynamic environments and can easily adapt to changing priorities.
  • Holistic thinker: You align user needs with long-term business goals and deliver seamless solutions.
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience in UX and digital product design.
  • Language skills: While our company language is English, your users will be Norwegian speaking. Thus, this role requires you to be able to hold conversations and conduct tests in both Norwegian and English

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?

Day-to-day work & projects cooking:

  • Shape customer experiences: You will be working across the jobs, understanding customer needs to ensure both candidates and recruiters have the best jobs experience.
  • Research and innovate: Conduct user research to gather insights and develop solutions that address customer needs.
  • Enhance product excellence: Ensure our products are intuitive, trustworthy, and a joy to use. Create designs that align with our design system, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively: Partner with PMs, developers, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Iterate and innovate: Develop solutions, refine designs, and ensure products deliver seamless experiences.

WHAT DOES THE TEAM DO?

You’ll join the Norway-based Jobs product teams, working closely with developers, PMs, and other stakeholders in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Moreover you will be part of the vibrant Jobs UX team, a group of 6 talented and ambitious designers who are always ready to lend a helping hand and spar in order to make a greater impact with design. This close-knit team values innovation and teamwork, fostering a supportive workplace culture.

FINN has joined forces with Bilinfo, Bilbasen, and DBA in Denmark, Oikotie and Tori in Finland, and Blocket and Bytbil in Sweden, collectively forming Schibsted Marketplaces (Soon to be Vend). Together, we serve over 325 million monthly visits.
