We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our innovative and fast-paced global Finance team. This role is critical in managing invoices, overseeing cost center structures and providing valuable financial reporting insights – focusing specifically on accounts payable (AP). This is a unique opportunity to join us at an early stage and grow with us as we build and scale our first-in-class global finance team.

About the team

Our global Finance team is led by our Chief Financial Officer and encompasses two key areas: Accounting and Business Controlling. Currently, the team comprises five dedicated professionals, with plans to expand during 2025. To date, we have successfully established nine legal entities and are actively working on creating more. Our team is focused on numerous initiatives to build and enhance our financial functions, ensuring we are well positioned for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure timely and accurate payment flow.
  • Ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Be the point of contact for day-to-day questions regarding invoices and expenses.
  • Allocate expenses to the appropriate cost centers and ensure proper coding.
  • Provide guidance on cost center-related matters to internal teams.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

Skills & Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant education in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting or another relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, specifically in AP processes.
  • High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Beneficial Qualifications

  • Experience in an international setting.
  • Experience in NetSuite.

Other information

This position is based at our central HQ in Stockholm, at Klarabergsviadukten 63. We have a hybrid work model, working primarily from the office with occasional flexibility to work from home.
