Revenue Manager (m/w/d)

As part of our Revenue Management team, you will make a significant contribution to the revenue success of Scandic Hotels Germany and support our growth in the German hotel market. Following the principle “Hope is not a strategy”, you will develop well-founded analyses and ensure the competitiveness and revenue optimization of our hotels. You will work closely with our teams from Sales, Distribution, the Central Reservation Office, Group-Convention Sales and your colleagues in Revenue Management - directly from our Support Office at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. In this position you will have the following core tasks:

  • Develop & implement revenue strategies to maximize total revenue, RevPAR & TREVPAR
  • Creating and scrutinizing demand forecasts based on data & market analysis
  • Identification of revenue potential in all business areas (rooms, F&B, events)
  • Developing and implementing dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, competition & customer segments
  • Ensuring optimal room availability across all sales channels
  • Monitor & analyze market trends, booking patterns & competitors
  • Use of benchmark (rooms and M&E), revenue management & BI tools
  • Close coordination with Sales, Marketing & Convention Sales, Reservations
  • Monitoring of RevPAR, TREVPAR, ADR, revenue utilization
  • Creating reports to identify risks & opportunities and communicating them to the team leader/Director Revenue Management

Skills & Requirements

You have at least five years of professional experience as a Revenue Manager and have strong analytical skills and a passion for developing, implementing and optimizing data-based strategies. Even in challenging situations, you keep a cool head, find pragmatic solutions and make sound decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication - also in English - as well as a structured, detail-oriented and precise way of working are among your strengths. Reliability and absolute integrity are a matter of course for you.
