About Our Program

A three-phase program designed to equip you for a successful career in technology business and develop you into one of our future leaders in the critical client facing commercial function. You will be assigned to Client Acquisition or Client Success team in any China office below based on your strengths and the business needs:

Location : Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing

There is an opportunity for top achievers to rotate through different commercial functions throughout the time with us.

Client Acquisition team

  • Sales Consultant (12 months): Learning business value of online media & Meltwater sales methodology. Well train to handle full software sales cycle from generating leads, prospecting, engaging and demonstrating our business values to senior business leaders/ C-level executives, subscribing new customers to the solution.
  • Sales Manager (12-24 months): Lead a team of sales consultants to bring the best business values to the new clients, focus on people development and inspire the next generation of manager-to-be.
  • Managing Director: Take ownership of the vision for your team growth, you will hire, train, lead and manage a team of A players. Make it a place where everyone is inspired, challenged, learn, excel and can do their best work. Manage multi-million USD portfolio of clients with full P&L responsibility. Sharp the product development and China specific products localization strategy in Greater China. Make direct and profound impact on our organizational growth in the most important region at Meltwater Group.

Client Success team

  • Client Success Representative (12 months): Learn business value of online media & Meltwater sales methodology. Well train to deliver world class service throughout the entire customer journey from onboarding training to day-to-day solution, and maintain and expand client connection that results in long term partnership and portfolio growths.
  • Account Manager (12-24 months): Manage the highest value client portfolio, lead a team of client success representative to deliver Meltwater world class service, focus on people development and inspire the next generation of manager-to-be.
  • Managing Director: Take ownership of the vision for your team growth, you will hire, train, lead and manage a team of A players. Make it a place where everyone is inspired, challenged, learn, excel and can do their best work. Manage multi-million USD portfolio of clients with full P&L responsibility. Sharp the product development and China specific products localization strategy in Greater China. Make direct and profound impact on our organizational growth in the most important region at Meltwater Group.

Skills & Requirements

We would love to see…

  • University degree of any disciplines
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin (mandatory)
  • With international exposure for internship/ full time work, volunteer projects or study
  • Work experience or relevant training in fast paced and international environment is preferred. With experience in startup, banking, management consulting firm, digital, PR/ marketing agency would be highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior customer-service oriented skills
  • Keen interest in news, current affairs and social media
  • A passion for entrepreneurship
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills.
  • A positive, goal oriented, self-motivated, independent thinker who can deal with ambiguity, with natural leadership qualities is desired
  • A proven ability to exceed expectations or targets in extra-curricular activities/at workplace
  • Coachability, openness to feedback and dedication to consistent self-improvement
  • Can demonstrate track record of effectively managing high workload
  • You are available to start the program in either January, March, July or Sept 2019 in China
  • Work sponsorship will be provided to right candidate
