We are looking for a trainee who is interested in figuring out how well and why different kind of marketing operations and other factors drive behavior. Ambitious high potential candidates have the possibility to continue on a permanent basis after the trainee period ends.
You would be working in the Strategy & Insight unit which is the data, technology, analytics and consulting unit of ToinenPHD part of Omnicom Media Group (OMG). We have just barely scratched our full potential, but already today our research teams manage several hundred research projects a year for well-known B2C and B2B companies in Finland and abroad.

This position is especially suitable for sharp graduates (soon to be or recent) and people with already some work experience in the fields.
In this role you will spend your working hours by conducting consumer and market research for our clients and helping the team at the other tasks.
The trainee will work in close co-operation with the people in the customer insight team and will have the opportunity to grow into an expert in this field. You will be deployed into real-life customer cases from the start, supporting top global and Finnish brands in growing their business.
On a more concrete level, your tasks could include the following for example:
You will have an opportunity to see and operate the whole spectrum of the research process: from analyzing raw data, reporting of findings to seeing how the results are implemented in practice and utilized by our clients. You will benefit from hands on training from your colleagues and our group wide development program. On top of the Strategy & Insight unit, you will be a part of the OMG Finland family with around 200 employees.
In a nutshell
The role assumes you are a graduate or close to graduating. Ideally you already have some experience in your main field of interest - it can be from working, from school projects or recreational activities.
You will be working with consumer, client and market research. You will be helping more senior people in their projects and also be assigned your own projects and areas of responsibility already during the trainee period.
The most important thing is that you have an entrepreneurial attitude, a sound analytical mind-set and the ambition to grow to be the best in your field. You will be given support from more experienced colleagues, many development opportunities, and will have the opportunity to gain a full-time job.
Please note also that the trainee needs to be native Finnish speaker or have equivalent proficiency. Interviews for the trainee period will be held in August, the trainee period starts later in the autumn and is done on location at our offices in the Kallio district of Helsinki.
