Job Description

We are looking to form young talents as we do in Sweden and introduce them to Sweden. Successful candidate will be trained and mentored by the most skilled management consultants and exposed to the international scenes, participate in company meetings, networking events and professional organizations.

At the completion of the internship, if well evaluated, the intern will have the opportunity to join our dynamic team and/or benefit with having an official recommendation letter that will improve his/her professional profile in addition to the formative months of training and learning spent with the organization.

The Intern will be given a monthly allowance for food and transportation.

Direct report to: Consulting Director, Maghreb & West Africa and team to support a variety of strategic initiatives

Job Descriptions

  • Collect and report market intelligence concerning e.g. General Morocco white papers and other relevant sectors as prioritized by organisation
  • Support in ongoing projects
  • Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information
  • Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
  • Assist in preparing information and research materials
  • Take notes and memos during meetings
  • Run general industry related errands
  • Type documents, drafts, and reports
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records
  • Respond to web correspondence, social media posts, and emails
  • Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations
  • Attend company functions and networking events
  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
  • Update and post supervised social media and website content
  • It is furthermore expected that the Strategic Intern will:

    • Promote the company at every opportunity, enhancing its profile in the market place

    • Work as an effective team member within the company, thereby optimizing communication and eliminating scope for error and misunderstanding.

    • Constantly improve own technical knowledge of region and organisation

    • Be willing to adopt new ways of working and to pursue learning and development programs upon request.

Skills & Requirements

Competence, Education and General Requirements

  • Undergraduate or University degree (High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program working toward Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Political Science & Engineering))
  • Written and spoken English and French. Any local languages in the Maghreb and West African region is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • A minimum of 3 months internship
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fast learner and ability to work across diverse tasks and fields
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Ability to apply common sense and critical thinking to carry out instructions and make decisions within scope of authority
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures
