We are now looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to contribute to our purpose by providing strategic legal support in a dynamic organization.

This is what you will do

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will manage group-wide legal matters for Lantmännen and support our central functions in close collaboration with the Group General Counsel. Your responsibilities will include corporate governance and managing legal processes at the group level.

You will provide support to Group Treasury, including financing matters, and offer legal guidance to our Member Department, particularly focusing on ownership structure for both wholly owned subsidiaries and associated companies.

Additionally, you will play a key role in group-wide M&A projects, strategic initiatives, and collaborations. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal advisors.

You will be part of the Group Legal Affairs & Compliance team and report directly to the Group General Counsel. The position is based at Lantmännen’s headquarters in Stadshagen, Stockholm, with occasional travel required.

Skills & Requirements

This is what you need to succeed

You Have:

  • A Swedish law degree and at least five years of experience from a corporate law firm and/or an in-house legal position.
  • Broad business law expertise, with experience in corporate law and governance.
  • Experience in a publicly listed environment; experience with M&A and financing is advantageous.
  • Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

  • Independent and proactive, with a structured work style and the ability to make sound risk assessments.
  • Communicative and can proactively build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders through trust and collaboration.
