Job title: Operations Executive (6-months FTC)

Reporting to : Operations and Inventory Director

Location: London or hybrid/remote working depending on preference

Department: Sales

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience

General Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented operations executive to support the smooth execution of our warehouse move while contributing to a variety of daily operational tasks. This role is critical in ensuring seamless processes and efficient transitions across operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations, inventory management, and, ideally, warehouse transitions. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the publishing industry and play a key role in a strategic initiative.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for inventory transitions, including stock reconciliations and tracking.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows across inventory and operational processes.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of stock movements, audits, and updates in inventory systems during warehouse move.
  • Ensure data accuracy in inventory systems and support reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of operational efficiencies and best practices.
  • Support on administrative tasks for wider operations team

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in an operations or inventory-focused role.
  • Knowledge of warehouse or logistics processes is desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level), including data analysis tools, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills to collaborate across multiple teams.
