The Senior Salesforce Administrator / Business Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the Salesforce platform to support smooth business operations and improve data-driven decision-making across Sales, GTM, Marketing, and Customer Success. This role involves working closely with these teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions that enhance business performance. A successful candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce and best practices, strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business operations, and the ability to communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels. This position reports to the Sales Systems Manager, covering our group of companies.

Having been recently acquired by one of the world’s biggest Private Equity firms, HVD Group is going through a rapid growth journey, with ambitious growth targets over the upcoming years, and is therefore looking to rapidly scale up its systems landscape accordingly. This role is critical to ensuring we keep our Salesforce, and PowerBI environments state of the art in order to continuously improve our operational efficiency, and ability to quickly identify, and leverage key insights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders in Sales, GTM, Marketing, and Customer Success to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements and scalable system solutions that solve business needs.
  • Salesforce Administration: Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Flows, workflows, process builder, and other Salesforce configurations.
  • System Integration: Work closely with stakeholders to implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. This includes a vast suite of applications including CPQ, e-signature, market intelligence, subscription management, calendar booking applications, Zapier connected systems, back-end systems, etc.
  • Data Management and Quality: Perform data imports, exports, data cleansing, and data quality assessments to maintain data integrity within Salesforce. Manage duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts, and perform mass uploads and updates of data as required. Remove unnecessary fields and data, ensuring screens, fields, and workflows have accurate names and reflect current workflows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work to improve existing Salesforce infrastructure and implement new features and functionality according to best practices. Use data and results to proactively seek out opportunities for improvement and enhancement of our current systems and processes.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Partner with business stakeholders to develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes and forecasting. Create audited, official source-of-truth reporting for business performance, and remove outdated reports, both within Salesforce and PowerBI.
  • Salesforce and PowerBI Training: Build a Salesforce and PowerBI training academy, including training videos and self-service training content to support new and existing users with the navigation and best practice usage of systems. Lead training courses for all new hires, in addition to refresher courses, while ensuring all users are trained on all new features as they get added and developed.
  • Other System Administration: Perform basic administration responsibilities for key sales systems (Salesforce, its connected applications, and PowerBI) like user management, troubleshooting, and configuration as aligned with operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience as a Salesforce Administrator & Business Analyst
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) is preferred; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator (ADM 301) are a plus.
  • Microsoft PowerBI experience, including experience supporting leadership teams with reporting, and dashboards.
  • Strong knowledge and experience around Salesforce Sales Cloud features
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and other associated tech stack software
  • Expertise in translating business requirements into technical/software requirements, process modeling, and data mapping
  • Hands-on writing Salesforce Validation, Workflow, and Flows.
  • Excellent analytical and technical aptitude and ability to solve problems
  • Excellent time management and organization skills with an ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel
  • Detail-oriented and self-starter with strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment
