Software Security Test Automation Specialist

We are looking for a Software Security Test Automation Specialist / Consultant, to join our Department of Software Testing, South Finland. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the security and reliability of our customer's products! We offer a great possibility to develop and widen your skills and competencies as a member of our experienced team and larger SW testing organization.
This is a permanent, full-time role based in the Capital Region. You need to be willing to commute to your first Customer site at Hyvinkää, around 2-3 days per week – the work will be done in a hybrid model.
Your main responsibilities
- Plan and execute security test automation, especially for industrial automation products
- Maintain and build up security test automation environment
- Perform manual testing when automation is not available
- Analyze regression testing results and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges.
Your skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience in security testing, ideally within industrial automation or control systems, with practical experience on devices, setups, and measurement equipment.
- A consultative approach, proactively seeking solutions and adding value for Etteplan's demanding clients across various domains.
- In-depth understanding of IEC62443 standards and their implementation in industrial settings.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, along with automation tools like Robot Framework.
- Skilled in using vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
Additionally, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as fluent spoken and written English skills are needed in this role.

A proactive mindset is natural to you, with the ability to anticipate and address security challenges. You also have strong communication and teamwork abilities onsite and remotely. We appreciate flexibility to travel within the Capital Region and/or Hyvinkää area, depending on customer locations and preferences. While not mandatory, proficiency in Finnish is beneficial for various customer projects and team interactions.
