Senior Multiskilled Security Architect

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Depending on the assigned mission or project being able too:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Configuration Documents, User Manuals, and Testing Plans.
  • Develop and implement security frameworks and reference architectures for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Provide expert technical guidance during the implementation and testing phases to ensure alignment with development goals and maintain traceability from user requirements to final tests.
  • Evaluate and integrate a broad range of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint protection, encryption, and identity management solutions.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat modeling to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential attack vectors.
  • Recommend security measures based on risk prioritization and impact analysis.
  • Perform security assessments and propose/implement remediation measures.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to deliver technical pre-sales support for solutions under the Security discipline.

Technical Skills and knowledge:

  • Proven expertise in Network Security, Cyber Defense, Vulnerability Management, Security Architecture, and Cloud Environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Defender for Cloud solutions, including DevOps security capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and concepts, such as Zero Trust Networks, CASB, Cloud Computing, SIEM solutions, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM, and PAM.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure security components, with familiarity in AWS and Google Cloud as a plus.
  • Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems, including scripting in PowerShell, Python, and .NET.
  • Deep understanding of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, and authentication technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying cybersecurity solutions across domains such as firewalls, anti-DDoS, and risk management.
  • Expertise in designing and troubleshooting complex IP networks, including IPv6.
  • Awareness of architectural methodologies and frameworks (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF) and compliance frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, OWASP) as well as regulations (DORA, NIS2, GDPR).
  • At least 5 years of experience in conceiving cybersecurity solutions, including embedded security systems (e.g., formal requirements writing, design definition, testing activities).
  • Familiarity with integrating diverse technologies and environments, coupled with a solid grasp of business strategy, risk, regulatory landscapes, and technical constraints.
  • Good knowledge of the following technologies and products: SD-WAN, Zscaler, SIEM, IAM, SOAR, SAML, OAUTH, Deffie Hellmann, EDR, SCADA, MODBUS, …
  • Experience in designing and deploy security solutions for OT/SCADA systems is a plus
  • Experience in accreditation and homologation is a plus.

Certifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent professional experience (minimum 5 years in IT/Security, preferably in Azure environments).
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CSSP, CCSK, GIAC, or GPEN are highly advantageous.
