Your Role as an Intern at KPMG
As an IRM Intern, you will get hands-on experience in managing risks in IT systems. You will be part of a growing team in a fast-paced environment. This role will help you develop your problem-solving and analytical skills. You will also have a mentor to guide and support you throughout the internship.

Your Job Tasks
During your internship at KPMG's Information Risk Management (IRM) team, you will work on tasks such as:

  • Attending client meetings to understand their IT environment.
  • Learning about different IT systems.
  • Helping ensure clients’ IT systems are secure and compliant.
  • Analyzing data to find potential risks.
  • Assisting in audits of IT systems.
  • Organizing large amounts of data into clear reports.

These tasks will give you a solid understanding of both IT auditing and data analysis, preparing you for a future in information risk management.

Skills & Requirements

To apply for this internship, you should be studying Informatics, Information Security, Economics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. You have the desire, commitment, and ambition to develop. You are team-oriented, have good analytical skills, are proactive, and of course, you also have good communication skills. In addition, you have a strong interest in IT.

The work period will extend from August 2025 to December 2025 and will be at 50% capacity. The plan is to work two full days at KPMG one week, and three full days the following week, and so on.
