We’re now looking for a Junior Analyst - Power Trading based in our Espoo office for summer 2025.
Junior Analyst will work as part of the Power Trading team. In your role you maintain, up-to-date forecasts that steer all our team activities. This role gives insight to all activities within our Team, from financial hedging to portfolio optimizing. Junior Analyst enables more efficient use of systems to maximize Gasum’s profitability and enables us to react accordingly to market changes.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Power consumption / production forecast development
- Assisting on Wind power asset optimizing tasks
- Participation in customer work and support to the physical Power customer portfolio optimizing
- Help onboarding of new customers and enabling the growth in Power business
- Development of operational activities; Forecasting tools, systems, processes, and way of working
- ETRM duties and development
- Communication with 24/7 Control room and Sales
What We Expect From You:
- Fluent in English and Finnish
- Strong IT-skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication skills to be able to effectively collaborate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
- Eager to share information and knowledge with team members.
- Beneficial: experience from Python and SQL
