Sustainability Developer

- Conduct Factory Sustainability Assessments (social/environmental/onsite/offsite) and Follow up visits at supplier factories in accordance with established procedures.
- Post completed Factory Sustainability Assessments in dedicated internal IT system (e.g., PLM, Traceability platform) & external (e.g., Worldly, FFC).
- Obtain and evaluate Corrective Action Plans prepared by suppliers and factories.
- Be updated on suppliers’ current business with Kappahl.
- Be updated on laws, and regulations, and industry practices related to human rights and environmental sustainability for factory employees.
- Work actively with suppliers to ensure they understand Kappahl’s social and environmental requirements and continuously work towards full compliance.
- Support sustainability targets including SLCP, RSC, Higg, Chemical safety, Traceability and Carbon neutrality.
- Coordinate various social and environmental sustainability projects of the organization in the region.

Skills & Requirements
- Experience: Must have minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability, social responsibility, or related fields, merited coming from buying office or 3rd party audit firm.
- Academic requirements: University Degree or equivalent preferably in law, textile, environmental
- Others: IT knowledge on user level & Good command in both written and spoken English and local language
- Personality: Analytical, accurate, agile, team player and communicative.
