Are you interested in supporting Swedish companies to grow in Asia? Do you have extensive experience from finance and accounting role? We are now looking for a Specialist to join our Business Support Service team in Japan.

Swedish Trade & Invest BSO K.K. is part of Business Sweden’s Japanese organization and provides a broad range of administrative back-office support services such as co-working office space, finance/accounting, HR/payroll services, and various admin supports to Swedish companies in Japan. Today about 35 companies are receiving our services and supports.

As Business Support Service Accounting Specialist at Business Sweden your job will encompass a diverse range of tasks within accounting & finance, Payroll, HR and administration, supporting Swedish companies’ entity(s) in Japan.

The role includes:

  • Overall responsibility for assigned clients within accounting, finance & admin
  • Payroll & HR-related services
  • Full sets of accounts using different accounting softwares
  • Payments by using online banking system
  • Cash flow maintenance
  • Year-end audit support
  • Liaising with company secretary / auditor / tax agent
  • Monthly reporting based on clients’ requirements, reporting package and timeline
  • Update financial data to ensure all information are accurate and immediately available when needed
  • Ensure finance administration, filling and documentations are in order
  • Proactively take initiatives to solve delivery related risks and issues

The role is based in Tokyo and you are required to reside and live here, but you will be expected to work with our teams and clients around the region.

Formal requirements

  • Japanese “Boki 2<sup>nd</sup> grade” is preffered
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
  • Familiar with local accounting software ”Yayoi Kaikei” and ERP system such as SAP is a plus
  • Excellent command of spoken & written English
  • Experience in working with international companies or multiple legal entities within a group is a plus
  • Experience in working in Japan or with Japanese clients is a plus
