Finance Team Lead (m/w/d)

You will be part of the German leadership team with responsibility to manage the financial processes (accounting, controlling, financial planning, etc.) and to advise management on financial issues.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To lead the finance team, currently consisting of 2 team members with strong accounting competence.

To represent the company towards relevant external parties (banks, tax advisor, authorities, etc.).

To manage and continuously improve the financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial meetings
  • Complete financial accounting and forecasting
  • Deliver reports and metrics to leadership

Financial Planning:

  • Advice the management on financial, tax and VAT matters.
  • Working capital management, liquidity planning, cash management
  • Financial Budgeting

Accounting:

  • The correct handling of incoming/outgoing invoices and related financial information.
  • Maintain the ledger, creditors and debtors administration.
  • Prepare the annual statement of accounts in line with regulations and group policies.

Controlling:

  • Cost controlling
  • Analyze and reconcile accounting records.
  • Financial KPI’s (ROI, Balance Score Card, Benchmarking).

Fähigkeiten und Anforderungen

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
  • Professional experience within accounting and controlling.
  • Experience in financial closing in accordance to HGB.
  • Preferably initial leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
  • Results orientation, analytical mindset, commercial ability.
