By Malene Birger is looking for a driven and proactive, experienced Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of optimizing production flow and ERP processes. You will also be responsible for overseeing production in collaboration with our Production Manager, ensuring the timely delivery of collections while maintaining the highest levels of quality within budget. You will report KPIs directly to the Sourcing and Production Director. A natural interest in system optimization is essential for success in this role. The ability to proactively identify areas for improvement, implement effective solutions, and drive continuous enhancements will be key to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems.
Mainly daily task and responsibilities
- Manage the entire production lifecycle, from pre-production planning to final buy, ensuring on-time delivery, high quality, and profitable margins
- Plan and execute Quality Control processes, resolving supplier claims effectively while maintaining product standards
- Optimize order placement processes in the ERP system to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with the Head of CSR to ensure all necessary production documentation is accurate and complete
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data, guaranteeing its alignment across systems to support smooth production operations and strategic decision-making
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly, providing feedback and KPIs to support continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with mills and suppliers to ensure smooth production and mutual alignment
- Maintain data accuracy across all systems (PLM & ERP), ensuring reliable operations and informed decision-making
- Communicate production updates and quality issues clearly to stakeholders, ensuring everyone stays aligned
- Leverage a strong understanding of the production process to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Outstanding organizational and planning skills, balancing multiple, and often changing, priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Works calmly under pressure
- Creative problem solver with an analytical and methodical approach to tasks
- Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and KPI reporting.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to follow up on tasks effectively
- Hands -on and proactive in a collaboration way
