Financial modeling is a part of business unit Deals (Transaction advisory) and the Valuation & Analytics team. This ambitious team of 70 consultants includes several expertise areas (Valuation, Incentives/Private equity, Deals analytics and Financial modelling). We provide clients with support in business and financial decisions concerning company acquisitions, restructurings, incentive programs, arbitrations and other complex financial matters.

We have been experiencing an increased demand for our services and are now looking for a strong team member to develop and increase our Modeling services including model build, model review, and transaction modeling. This offers a great opportunity to an ambitious and curious expert.

We are looking for Senior Consultants with 3-7 years of transaction modeling or/and model build/review related experience e.g. from energy, infrastructure, or/and financial sector, financial analytical work from one of the Big 4-firms or other prominent consultancy firms, corporate finance departments or similar.

You are expected to be a driven project leader with well proven problem solving skills and a strong business acumen, eager to take on new challenges.You will work in teams as well as independently and you will face clients regularly.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Financial analytical work with financial data. Connect diverse metrics into the financial quantitative process.
  • Financial modeling and model review for investments, financing processes, business forecasting and to calculate the value of companies, etc.(good user in Excel, Alteryx and /or other data programs).
  • Transactional modeling connecting to financing projects, business restructuring, deal execution, complex tax matters and IPO processes
  • Delivery to clients in the form of data books, business insights and well-structured reports.
  • Client manager and a trusted advisor with a high level of service
  • Project leading & product ownership
  • Being a role model, supervising and coaching more junior staff members
  • Modeling product development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients, identify development areas and improve internal processes e.g. setting up project methodology in tight cooperation across Deals teams
  • Contribute to the development of your own and the team’s technical acumen
  • Keep up to date with business and economic development

Preferred skills

  • Bachelor’s (requirement) or Master’s (meriting) degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, Finance & Accounting, Engineering, Data Science or other programming education combined with Finance from a prominent business school
  • 3-7 years’ experience in financial analytical work, consultancy practice and project leading work, e.g. from a consultancy firm, bank, corporate finance department or similar
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to understand and navigate in complexity and a passion for problem solving, curious and growth mindset, friendly attitude
  • Strong cooperation and self-leadership skills
  • Interest and care for people
  • Advanced level of communication in English and preferably also Swedish
