What You Will Do:

  • Take a lead role in the development of backend-heavy features for our platform.
  • Build new features from scratch, improve existing code, and ensure it remains clean, scalable, and efficient.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets both business and user needs.
  • Take ownership of your work and contribute autonomously while driving product development forward.
  • Contribute to system architecture design, ensuring stability and scalability as the product evolves.

Skills & Requirements

What You Will Bring to the Team:

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience developing production-grade applications, with a strong understanding of API design (server-to-server, server-to-client).
  • Expertise in data modeling, and working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Solid experience in Unit Testing and working with Kubernetes, Nest.js, Redis, RabbitMQ, Jest, and other technologies in the stack.
  • Ability to maintain high coding standards and contribute to a collaborative, agile development environment.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for building innovative software and contributing to a thriving development culture.

What We See as a Plus:

  • Experience working with AI/ML technologies in a backend context.
  • Experience in the Tech or SaaS industries.
  • Knowledge of Integration Testing and TDD practices.

  1. Introduction meeting: A brief chat with our recruiter for us to understand your background better, and for you to learn about us and the role (approx. 30 minutes).
  2. Personality & Logic Test: A short assessment to help us understand your problem-solving abilities and cognitive strengths via Alva Labs
  3. Technical Screening: Meet with someone from your future team to assess your experience and skills, and for you to learn more about the projects we are working on (approx. 45 minutes).
  4. Technical Interview: A deeper dive into your technical expertise with our tech leaders, and for you to get a better feel for our team (approx. 60 minutes).
  5. Informal HR Interview: Before making an offer, we’ll have a final informal chat to answer any last questions and ensure everything feels right on both sides (approx. 30 minutes).
