Tech Lead Sales & Customer Services - Scandic Hotels Group

We want a Tech Lead for Sales & Customer Services to check in with us in Stockholm, Sweden!

We are currently on a mission to strengthen our sales capabilities, modernizing key parts of our central IT systems and services. With several major initiatives in the pipeline, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead to our new Sales & Customer Services team. This is an opportunity to drive significant change in a key focus area for Scandic, ensuring alignment and efficiency across all markets to improve communication with our customers.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our sales platforms and processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders within sales and revenue management and collaborate across countries to optimize systems and processes related to B2B sales. This position offers the chance to make a substantial impact and includes overall budget responsibility as well as leading and mentoring tech team members. You will report to Head of Tech for Customer Journey.

Main Activities:

  • Secure stable and efficient sales platforms, as well as owning the technical development and roadmap
  • Collaborate with local business units to unify sales processes and ensure effective communication across departments
  • Oversee the configuration and maintenance of sales systems, focusing on process improvement and optimization
  • Work closely with business stakeholders within sales and revenue management to align sales strategies with business objectives
  • Lead and mentor team members, promoting collaboration and engagement
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts

Skills & Requirements

Experiences you bring and share with us:

  • Proven experience in leading implementations of CRM platforms and processes related to B2B sales
  • Strong background in IT project management and/or service management
  • Experience in an international context and ability to work with diverse teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Confirmed leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and providing support
  • Full working proficiency in English is required, Swedish or another Nordic language is a big plus
