WHO ARE YOU?

• Solid and extensive experience in HR and/or labour law in Norway, preferably in a matrix organization and in companies that have undergone organizational changes.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English: while your field of expertise is in Norwegian legislation, Schibsted company language is English and we gather people from multiple backgrounds.
• You’re main competence, and experience is in Norwegian labour law, from strategy to execution; knowledge of other Nordic labour laws is a plus!
• You combine business acumen, negotiation skills, and HR data literacy while being solution-oriented and forward-oriented in the face of changing scenarios.
• You are highly strategic and structured while also doing operational tasks, both as a PBP and in the area of labour law.
• As a person, you’re a trusted advisor, and change catalyst and you don’t fear stepping up when needed and standing your ground when required to make informed, impactful decisions. You’re a decisive analytical communicator, who thrives in teamwork, shares knowledge and learns from others, contributing to a culture of trust.

WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?

As a Senior People Business Partner (PBP), you play a key role in providing proactive HR support to selected leaders. Your focus spans critical areas such as employee engagement, talent and performance management, leadership development, and driving organizational change.

In addition, you are our “Norwegian labour law champion”, working closely with our HR Country Manager, Monica. Together, you take ownership of union relations and the local labour agenda, shaping strategies, managing planning, and ensuring smooth execution of both large-scale and smaller organizational changes. This role involves significant stakeholder management, partnering with managers at all levels across Schibsted Marketplaces to create meaningful impact.

You are part of our People and Communication team spread across five countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Poland - Norway is Schibsted Marketplaces' largest market in terms of both business size and employees. On a daily, you collaborate internally with the three main areas in the HR organization:

- Business-Facing: PBPs supporting specific verticals, functions, or countries.

- Operations & Employee Experience: Covering HR technology and daily HR processes.

- Expertise Areas: Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Employer Branding.
