About the Role
As a Team Lead Mechanical at Etteplan Production Solutions Netherlands, you will be the vital link between our organization and our customer. You will work on challenging projects, stay on top of developments, and identify new opportunities for follow-up initiatives. Alongside project responsibilities, you’ll lead a team of approximately 10 engineers preferable at the same customer, guiding their work, evaluating their performance, and ensuring the team operates at its best. Reporting directly to the Team Manager, your role will combine technical expertise with people management and client relations.
What You’ll Do
- Be part of the project team at our customer and execute engineering and consultancy activities.
- Coordinate and mentor a team of engineers, evaluate and develop team members’ skills and performance.
- Maintain relationships with the client and secure new projects for Etteplan.
- Report regularly to the Team Manager on team progress and performance.
Your Qualifications
Must-haves:
- A strong technical background with substantial experience in a mechanical or mechatronic environment.
- Proven experience as a people manager, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive mindset: you recognize and seize opportunities.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in a client-focused environment.
- A structured approach to following and enhancing processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
