Professional Services is made up of Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Solution Consultants. We deliver customer implementation projects and provide continuous services that empower Basware customers to adopt, optimize, and accelerate the benefits of their Basware solutions and services. We work directly with our clients or through our network of implementation partners to ensure that every solution is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Our implementation methodology is based on best practices that have been refined over years of experience.
As a Jr Project Manager, you will support the planning and execution of customer implementation projects and change requests for our technology-focused customer base. This role has been created to support our growing demand and is based in Costa Rica. The position is hybrid, requiring a mix of remote work and in-office collaboration.
In this role, you will:
- Plan, scope, and manage small to mid-sized customer projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to Basware's implementation methodology.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers, providing regular updates and addressing project needs.
- Work closely with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams to allocate resources and meet project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while proactively managing their expectations.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
This role requires working US business hours (8 AM to 5 PM PT,MT, CT, ET) and demands proficiency in English and Spanish to effectively engage with local and international stakeholders.

Skills & Requirements
To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English and Spanish is required, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. - Project Management Experience:
1–2 years of experience in project management, ideally within a technology company or a customer-facing role. - Technical Aptitude:
Familiarity with software implementation, ERP systems, or enterprise technology is highly valued. - Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
The ability to build rapport with customers and team members while effectively managing expectations. Strong presentation skills are a plus. - Organizational and Time Management:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a structured and efficient manner. - Work Environment Requirements:
Availability to work US business hours (8 AM to 5 PM PT, MT, CT, ET) in a hybrid model (a combination of remote and in-office work). - Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Project management certifications (e.g., CAPM) are an advantage. - Adaptability and Problem Solving:
A proactive mindset, adaptability to evolving priorities, and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. - Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with global teams and in a hybrid work environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
- Knowledge of Basware solutions, SAP, Oracle Financials, or Microsoft Dynamics.
