Futurice is now looking for a Financial Controller.

About the role

You will work with a small team of professionals and report to the group CFO. As Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing Futurice’s financial closing and ensuring that the consolidation process runs smoothly and timely. Your exact role can be adjusted to your professional experience and personal interests, but will mainly consist of following elements:

• Futurice Group’s monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and Group consolidation
• Financial reports and Consolidated Financial Statements
• Ensuring high-quality, efficient, and timely accounting and reporting
• Coordination of forecast and budget processes within area of responsibility
• Taxation and Transfer Pricing matters together with external partner
• Co-operation with our external accounting service providers
• Manage external audit of the Group
• Managing Group accounting policies and standards
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulation
• Developing systems and processes
• Admin user in Tabella and NetSuite
• Owner of finance team ticketing service for internal support
• Assisting in monthly invoicing
• Cash Flow reporting/forecasting

The recipe for success

You have gained a good understanding of finance processes as well as group consolidation and you combine your skills with a positive, development-minded attitude.

And to be more concrete, here is what we are looking for:

• M.Sc. or B.Sc., Econ. (or equivalent) combined with 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting and controlling.
• Operational knowledge of FAS
• Good understanding of finance processes combined with development-minded attitude
• Ability to make decisions independently and communicate clearly
• A fair team player with can do attitude and service mindset 
• Native Finnish (statutory requirements) and fluent English language skills
• You will benefit from having a solid know-how and understanding of various IT-systems and their interfaces as well as an understanding of the service industry business fundamentals

Compensation

Your complete compensation package will be discussed in detail during the recruitment process. Our salary model is designed to offer a range of levels based on three factors: skills, responsibilities and impact. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment where every employee has the opportunity to thrive and advance in their career and become better versions of themselves.

During the initial interview round, we will discuss the salary range for this position. We offer a fixed salary with the possibility of performance-based bonuses and additional benefits.
