The Real Estate Tech Team at FINN.no plays a key role in helping people navigate some of the most significant decisions in their lives. Buying a home or a cabin isn’t just a financial commitment—it’s a deeply personal journey, and we’re here to make it better.

Us? The Real Estate Tech department at FINN is responsible for creating innovative solutions that play a substantial role in FINN's success and revenue. We are at the heart of Norway's real estate marketplace, helping people find a new home, sell a cabin, rent an apartment, or anything else Norwegians need in their property journey.

We are working on many things, like shaping our new integration strategy and building modern tools to support professional customers, third-party systems, and internal teams across Business Units, Sales, and Customer Support. Our work directly impacts FINN's role as the #1 marketplace in Real Estate. We’re also exploring the possibilities of AI and machine learning to create smarter, more efficient systems. Examples of our innovative projects include a solution that identifies floor plans in real estate images using fine-tuned AI models. Building on this, we create interactive, digital floor plans that allow users to navigate seamlessly through a property. This clickable floor plan enhances the user experience by connecting specific rooms in the layout to corresponding images, providing a clear and intuitive way to explore a home virtually.

You? We're looking for a fullstack developer who takes ownership and initiative, someone who is not afraid to "step up" when needed. As a team player, you enjoy collaborating with others, sharing your expertise, and learning from your colleagues. You have a passion for continuous learning and professional development, always seeking new opportunities to enhance your skills.

Moreover, it is important that you:

• Have three or more years of developer experience
• Love for the products you are working on, and our users

Tech stack? Our tech stack primarily features Kotlin and technologies like Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, React and Kubernetes. You don't need to be an expert in everything, but curiosity and a thirst for knowledge are a must.

That means that you can take responsibility for a task from the discovery phase until it’s in production.

Location? We embrace a hybrid work approach and invite you to join us in our office in Oslo for 2-3 days a week. This allows for collaboration and meaningful connections with your team. If you’re not the working from home kind of person, you are of course welcome in our office every day.

Company? FINN.no recently joined forces with Bilbasen and DBA in Denmark, Oikotie and Tori in Finland, and Blocket in Sweden, collectively forming Schibsted Nordic Marketplaces. Together, we serve over 325 million monthly visits. Our combined technology unit, comprising around 250 developers in Oslo, is instrumental to our success story, deploying new code to production over 1800 times per week.
