Main goal

Join UEFA as an ICT Strategic Performance Expert and drive excellence by optimising ICT processes and maximising results with external vendors.

Key responsibilities
General ICT delivery lifecycle efficiency:

  • Handling the overall coordination between ICT teams to support long-term planning and the ICT strategy
  • Developing metrics, ensuring quality and improving services
  • Refining processes and improving documentation
  • Enhancing service efficiency and managing issues
  • Retaining knowledge and supporting IT service management

Management of the governance of vendors:

  • Acting as the main ICT contact for major contracts, collaborating with the procurement team on issues and performance
  • Maximising value from vendors and encouraging their investment in ICT relationships
  • Collaborating with the legal and finance teams to ensure that both parties meet their contractual obligations and maintaining clear communication
  • Monitoring compliance, addressing issues and benchmarking vendor performance
  • Aligning vendor activities with the ICT strategy and long-term planning

Skills & Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in ICT contract management or governance
  • Previous experience with major ICT outsourcing contracts and multicultural environments

Education:

  • Master's degree in ICT or business administration, or an equivalent diploma
  • A governance-related certification such as CPCM, GRCP, CSMP would be an asset

Languages:

  • English: Proficient
  • Any other European language would be an asset

Other requirements:

  • Significant experience with ICT processes and ICT organisation models
  • Significant experience analysing and documenting processes, including leading workshops involving multiple stakeholders with various conflicting goals and constraints
  • Experience drafting documents and creating visually appealing charts or graphics
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management processes
  • Knowledge of IT service management and related concepts such as SLAs and KPIs
  • Knowledge of ICT frameworks such as ITIL and Cobit
