We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one of our core platform teams, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). In this role you’ll oversee the team’s people, processes, delivery, technical product, and cross-team collaborations. Collaborating closely with the team, neighbouring teams, and Staff Engineers, you’ll drive critical infrastructure that impacts the entire company.

You’ll guide a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team that thrives on shared decision-making, knowledge-sharing, and fostering a psychologically safe environment. Your role will include refining team processes, building and prioritizing backlogs, clarifying requirements, and engaging with stakeholders across the company. Your experience in crafting technical platforms in other organizations will bring valuable insights, while your open-mindedness will help shape our approach.

How you will make an impact

• Lead and grow a high-performing team by providing mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance while fostering a culture of collaboration, trust, and continuous improvement.
• Drive infrastructure excellence by ensuring the platform is scalable, reliable, and optimized for fast, efficient product delivery.
• Partner with other teams and stakeholders to align the platform’s development with organizational priorities and technical goals.
• Enhance team processes by refining workflows, prioritizing backlogs, and clarifying technical and product requirements to maximize efficiency and impact.
• Shape the vision for the platform’s future, inspiring the team to innovate and successfully bring that vision to life.
  

What we’re looking for

• Solid technical background with expertise in modern SRE practices and cloud technology.
• Proven experience managing and growing SRE teams.
• Extensive understanding of technical platforms, team dynamics, software delivery and system design.
• Ability to foster a psychologically safe work environment for your team.
  

It would also be music to our ears if you have

• Experience with technical product development, focusing on Developer Experience.
• Hands-on familiarity with tools and technologies like Go/TypeScript, GKE, Terraform, Observability stacks, and CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
