Responsibilities
- Lead and provide guidance in system design in a pragmatic way, identifying potential risks and opportunities for both high- and low-level solutions where the objective is a modern, maintainable and scalable web application.
- Along with the team develop the backend of the application
- Provide direction to other developers regarding implementation and working methodology
Requirements
- Good and well-documented experience with designing and developing advanced scalable web applications
- Good and well-documented experience with providing technical consulting and leadership in developing systems
- Strong collaboration skills
- Expertise in PHP, MVC (with i.e. Symfony or Zend Framework), TDD, relational databases and Git.
- Good experience in the agile working methodology
- Addiction to clean code, great design, best practices and nice commit messages :)
Skills & Requirements
Beneficial skills
- Experience with integrations with common APIs: social media platforms (Facebook, Google Plus), payment service providers and map APIs (Google Maps)
- Knowledge of Angular JS, React JS or other Javascript frameworks and developing single-page applications
- Knowledge of server/hosting management and distributed systems

What we're building
A relatively large-scale web based community marketplace for brokers and individuals all over Europe. The platform will cover several different features which includes public user profiles, map-based property search and listing, different payment options, extensive administration tools and a relating social media platform.
