Quality Engineer - ASIC

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Quality Engineer with extensive experience in the design, testing, assembly, characterization, and qualification of ASIC products. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

As a Quality Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and assess the quality of project deliverables throughout all stages of development. This includes ensuring that all processes comply with the relevant procedures and industry standards. You will also take a proactive role in identifying risks early on and working alongside the project team to implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Additionally, you will perform detailed root cause and failure analysis, using the 8D methodology to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

What you will do:

  • Assess and ensure adherence to customer quality agreements and specifications.
  • Work with suppliers to confirm their adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Review and analyze RMAs to drive improvements in both products and processes.
  • Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Use statistical tools and methods to analyze quality data, aiding decision-making and process improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices, quality standards, and processes.
  • Oversee changes to processes, materials, and products, ensuring quality is maintained.

Who you are:

  • Experience in the design, testing, assembly, characterization, and qualification of ASIC products.
  • Several years of experience in a similar position in quality related functions.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for ASIC products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams, managers, and suppliers. Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
