The Koenigsegg Software & Electronics department is responsible for designing and developing software, electronic control units (ECU) and supporting tools for all Koenigsegg's cars. We are working very closely with the other engineering departments, production and service/aftersales. We are now looking to expand the team with skilled and experienced electrical harness engineers with the ability to transform product requirements and production needs to state of the art solutions and to also further advance the electrical architecture in our cars.

The responsibilities associated with this position put a strong requirement on your ability to cooperate with other departments in other technical domains. The development activities are primarily focused on electrical harness schematics and electrical architecture for our cars.

Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership of the electrical system schematics of the vehicle (harness schematics)
  • Design and create Harness schematics, wiring diagrams, BOM, cables list, connectors etc.
  • Work closely with mechanical, prototype and manufacturing engineers in the integration of harness and electrical components
  • Work with purchasing department and external suppliers for components sourcing
  • Experience developing system schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical systems.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing aspects of wireless harness design both electrical and mechanical.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in bench and prototype vehicles

Skills & Requirements

  • Ability to translate wire harness requirements to schematics and wire list data
  • Proven experience with physical wire harness architectural design
  • Familiarity with software design and software systems
  • Experience drawing schematics and wire list data for wire harness
  • Experience working with manufacturing methods, fabrication or assembly processes
  • Fluency in English
