Your role
As Technical Author, you develop high-quality technical documentation, from manuals to online content. Together with technical experts, you make the incomprehensible understandable. You also ensure up-to-date documentation that complies with the latest standards. By continuously analysing user feedback, you optimise the user experience.
Your environment
You work with leading international companies in multidisciplinary teams. A mix of office, home and customer visits is part of the possibilities. Flexible working hours and remote working are standard. You are part of a close-knit team of 60 technical writers and are well supported by your project leader.
Your main responsibilities
- Develop high-quality technical documentation, including manuals and online content, in collaboration with technical experts.
- Translate complex subject matter into clear, understandable content.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation that complies with current standards.
- Continuously analyse user feedback to enhance the user experience.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams on projects for leading international clients.
Your skills skills and experience
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Technical Author.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with various documentation systems and software.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel; a valid driver’s license is useful.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work in diverse team settings (home, office, customer sites) with flexible hours.
We also value
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in a similar role with international or multi-disciplinary teams.
- Standards Familiarity: Knowledge of industry documentation standards (e.g., DITA, XML).
- Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with user experience optimisation methods through feedback loops.
What we offer

- Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary (€3,500 - €4,500 gross per month).
- Contract: Temporary with a view to permanent employment.
