Your role and responsibilities

• Planning and conducting explorative and evaluative user research in the German market and other Epassi markets

• Developing our processes and tools around user research and product design alongside other team members

• Applying service design methods and tools to create new and improve existing services and products

• Defining and discovering terminology and information architecture for product concepts, guided by user insights

• Interaction design of new and existing products and services in given responsibility area, utilizing - and contributing to - our design system

• Working independently on projects, products and services and guiding junior team members

• Collaborating day-to-day with product owners, product managers and development teams, and of course fellow designers

• Key contributor in advocating user-centricity within the organization.

Preferred qualifications

• 5+ years or experience of product or service design in B2C or B2B products, complemented by applicable formal education

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience and interest in working close to product management and business

• Deep understanding of qualitative user research, service design, and interaction design

• Understanding of modern software development practices

• Portfolio demonstrating user research, service design and interaction design capabilities

• Fluent English and German are required, other language skills are appreciated
