Main goal

Join our team and play a key role in delivering UEFA's futsal competition matches! As part of this exciting opportunity, you’ll actively contribute to the smooth execution of events and will have the unique chance to become a Match Manager — an exciting step into the dynamic, fast-paced world of futsal competition management.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinating and preparing online operational documentation such as the match operations ICT set-up, guidelines, procedures, reports and archives
  • Following up with national associations and clubs on all operational and administrative processes
  • Serving as the key contact for the Football Operations unit on matters relating to futsal competitions
  • Training and serving as Match Manager at the final tournaments of UEFA futsal competitions
  • Dealing with various competition-related administrative tasks (correspondence, internal procedures, calendars, etc.)
  • Providing back-office support before, during and after the season in relation to committee meetings, draws, workshops, etc.
  • Coordinating ad hoc tasks and projects relating to various matters, including, for example, e-procurement, the Futsal Finalissima or Youth Olympic Games

Skills & Requirements

Experience:

  • From 1 to 3 years of experience working for a sports organisation, ideally an international one

Education:

  • CFC diploma or bachelor's degree in sports administration or another relevant field

Languages:

  • English: Proficient
  • Any other European languages would be an asset

Other requirements:

  • Computer-literate, familiar with ICT platforms and a proficient user of the MS Office suite
  • Pragmatic, communicative team player able to multitask in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Able to provide outstanding results, attentive to detail but also capable of seeing the big picture
  • Independent, positive, and comfortable in a multicultural environment
  • Able to implement strict business rules and follow guidelines
  • Available to travel (10-15%)
  • Good knowledge of sport in general and football, futsal or another indoor sport in particular
