Main goal

Join UEFA Club Competitions SA’s (UCCSA) Legal & Business Affairs team and provide them with all the necessary administrative support.

You will cooperate and communicate with counterparts within UEFA, UCCSA, UCCSA's marketing agencies for both men’s and women’s club competitions and the European Club Association.

Key responsibilities

  • Arranging for the execution of commercial agreements/documents in Word or PDF format and having them signed electronically using DocuSign or manually
  • Filing, organising and managing all correspondence and documents efficiently
  • Providing administrative and logistical support which may include travel planning and expenses
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and related documents for internal and external meetings
  • Proactively providing general support to all members of the unit to ensure a high level of organisation and high-quality delivery of legal services to internal and external clients
  • Completing predefined and prearranged contract documents, which may include providing some basic analysis
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of documents and following up on deadlines including arranging and being responsible for obtaining countersignatures from UCCSA’s authorised signatories on all contracts

Skills & Requirements

Experience:

  • 4 or more years of experience working in an international law firm or the legal service of an international organisation

Education:

  • University education, paralegal apprenticeship or equivalent

Languages:

  • English: Proficient
  • Proficiency in other European languages would be an asset

Other requirements:

  • Strong IT skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Strong project management, organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism, including reliability and a commitment to meeting high quality standards and deadlines, the capacity to plan ahead and anticipate what might happen, a focus on efficient implementation, follow-up after completion, accountability, integrity and discretion
  • Highly motivated with good people skills

With the commencement of the 2024-2027 rights cycle, UCCSA has assumed full responsibility for managing the commercial and business aspects of the UEFA club competitions including their respective commercial programmes and the management, sales, contracting, and delivery of the commercial rights.
