We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and service minded person for a temporary position in our Claims Support Team, Hull & P&I in Arendal. The team delivers high quality service to Gard’s claims handlers and our customers as part of Gard’s marine insurance activities worldwide.
The position will be available shortly and have a duration of up to one year.
YOUR PRIMARY FOCUS WILL BE
- Process and handle P&I Claims
- Claims payments and related transactions
- A continuous focus on improving our services and practices
- Responding to customer queries
- Other claims related tasks
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and/or relevant experience
- General accounting knowledge.
- A structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail
- Is ICT literate with a digital mindset and quick to learn systems and procedures
- Keen to build cross-functional competence and highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge.
- Able to work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven
- Self-motivated and a team player with an improvement mindset
- Has strong communication skills and cultural awareness
- A good command of spoken and written English is required
