We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and service minded person for a temporary position in our Claims Support Team, Hull & P&I in Arendal. The team delivers high quality service to Gard’s claims handlers and our customers as part of Gard’s marine insurance activities worldwide.

The position will be available shortly and have a duration of up to one year.

YOUR PRIMARY FOCUS WILL BE

  • Process and handle P&I Claims
  • Claims payments and related transactions
  • A continuous focus on improving our services and practices
  • Responding to customer queries
  • Other claims related tasks

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and/or relevant experience
    • General accounting knowledge.
    • A structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail
    • Is ICT literate with a digital mindset and quick to learn systems and procedures
    • Keen to build cross-functional competence and highly motivated to learn as well as share knowledge.
    • Able to work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven
    • Self-motivated and a team player with an improvement mindset
    • Has strong communication skills and cultural awareness
    • A good command of spoken and written English is required
