The Sales Consultant role is the entry-level position within our International Management program. It is a business-to-business sales role which involves presenting the cutting-edge Meltwater services to prospective clients across Japan.
Our clients are typically in the Public Relations, Communications or Marketing Departments, and we work directly with decision makers in a very consultative fashion. Meltwater isn’t a service that is used by just one industry, so you will get exposure to companies and organizations of all shapes and sizes, helping you expand your business acumen all the time. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from prospecting to product demonstrations to bringing clients onboard yourself – getting all of the credit for your hard work!

Skills & Requirements
At a minimum, you will need:
A University degree
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Natural leadership qualities
International experience (academic, personal or professional)
A good command of Japanese (Min. JLPT1) and English.
