Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus - Go)

Are you passionate about backend development, automation, and improving processes? We're looking for a Full Stack developer with a focus on backend development (specifically Go) to join our Product Adaptation team.Join and help shape the future of merchant onboarding by building scalable systems that improve efficiency and bring merchant experience to a new level.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Integration Team to improve and streamline our merchant onboarding process. You'll play a key part in automating workflows and enhancing the efficiency of merchant integration, adaptation, and testing. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of some critical systems and contribute to the ongoing development of our API documentation platform.
This is what you will do:
- Develop and implement automation solutions to support the integration of new and existing merchants.
- Write and maintain tests for various integrations, ensuring smooth operations and timely updates.
- Take ownership of the API documentation platform (Stoplight), keeping it up to date and improving usability.
- Adapt integration solutions to meet specific merchant requirements, enhancing the look & feel where necessary.
- Act as the first point of contact for diagnosing and resolving technical issues during integration.
Skills & Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Backend development experience, preferably in Go.
- Some experience in frontend development is required, with the desire to handle more if needed.
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, RESTful APIs, and how they work.
- Experience with tools like Postman, wget, or similar for API testing and development.
- Ability to diagnose system problems using tools like Datadog or similar monitoring platforms.
- Comfortable with Linux/OSX environments, and proficient using the terminal.
- Able to work closely with teams and explain technical issues clearly.
- BSc or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience working in fintech or with merchant onboarding processes is a plus
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools that improve development efficiency.
