About the position

Groceries, Convenience and Principals are important customer groups for us and for whom we offer high-quality selection of products. We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager Wholesale to join our commercial team in Sweden. This role is an integral part to secure growth and transforming Oriola to become a the leading specialist in wholesale. In this position, you will lead and develop a profitable customer base and manage dedicated accounts to create long-term partnerships and strong customer relationships.

As a member of the Commercial team Sweden, you will also ensure that sales-related activities are carried out in accordance with jointly defined strategy and goals. You will work closely with Oriola's offering, customer service and marketing.

Skills & Requirements

Primary responsibilities

  • Responsibility for grocery segment and own brands
  • Develop and implement account plans tailored to each key account, focusing on growth opportunities and long-term partnerships.
  • Secure Sales Excellence processes in wholesale specifically and indirectly for Oriola as a whole
  • Transform and accelerate the grocery business & own brands in Sweden in line with strategic outlook with market growth via support of marketing activities.
  • Secure improved customer dialogue, contact with senior counterparts at suppliers principals to enhance the 360 view needed to understand the full value cycle of Oriola's portfolio and services. Contribute to and develop NPS strategy. Contribute significantly to company's revenue, growth, and strategic success
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationship with key stakeholder at senior level within the client organisation.

Personal and experience Requirements

We expect from you a solid experience with 5-10+ in sales & marketing ideally within the retail industry / FMCG. You have a proven track record of managing and growing large, strategic client relationships as well as have a strong experience in eCommerce and digital sales channels.

In addition, we expect you to have

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with an understanding of the client’s industry, competitive landscape, and business challenges
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities, with experience in managing or collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, anticipating challenges, and resolving issues promptly.

Other Requirements

  • Full fluency in Swedish and English.
  • ​Understanding of the product and service offerings and solutions sales.​
  • ​Capability to utilize data in customer account planning and execution.​
  • Strong self-management skills
  • ​Understanding of the dynamics of building a cohesive team and working cross-functionally​.
  • ​Solution orientation and capability to challenge customers positively.​
