We are looking for a senior Gameplay programmer with Multiplayer experience to join our studio. We need your help to develop an exciting 3D multiplayer adventure online game based on a new IP!

In this position you’ll be setting the foundational gameplay features that will form the basis for our game initiative. You’ll have the ownership of gameplay features and functions.

You’ll be joining an established team of experienced developers with a broad set of talents anchored in successful games and technologies. A team of passionate people, who want to build a strong team and create a great working culture together.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Implementing UI, sound, and animation
  • Design, implement and own various gameplay features and tools
  • Contribute to all stages of the product life cycle. Design, implementation, testing, release, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting
  • Enable and integrate multiplayer aspects of gameplay features
  • Contribute to an open, effective and friendly culture
  • Implementing game systems for different game modes
  • Working closely with designers and assisting them in creating content and gameplay, gathering requirements and feedback to further develop the tools
  • Assist the gameplay team to create a game architecture from which the game can be expanded later on, and that works in an online multiplayer environment
  • Creating simple NPC characters and behaviours

Skills & Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • You have 5 years of experience in an engineering role using Unity and C#
  • You have experience prototyping, implementing, and maintaining gameplay systems
  • You have collaborated with design, art, and production to realize a shared vision
  • You have demonstrated ability to gather and implement technical requirements
  • You have a clear and concise communication style
  • You enjoy working with design and gameplay
  • You have worked with online multiplayer games
  • You have worked with player progression systems and AI
  • You are fluent in English

Good to know

Noid is part of the global company Spin Master and we are sitting in the same office as our sister studio Toca Boca and Nørdlight in Luma/Stockholm. You’ll need to be located in Sweden as we are unable to support relocation. We offer a hybrid workplace - you can join some of our colleagues in the office a few days a week and you can also work from home. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
